Electrical Safety Regulations
For your safety and
peace of mind we are approved members of the following organisations:
NICEIC www.niceic.org.uk
The National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting
is the industry's independent, non profit-making, voluntary regulatory
body covering the whole of the United Kingdom.
The NICEIC's sole purpose is to protect
consumers from unsafe and unsound electrical work. NICEIC maintains
a Roll of Approved Contractors that are assessed every year to check
that their work meets the national safety standard BS 7671 (the
IEE Wiring Regulations) and other relevant technical standards.
Part P of the Building Regulations
www.communities.gov.uk
The provision and installations of electricity in "Special Locations"
is regulated by Part P of the Building Regulations. We are fully qualified
and approved for works covered under Part P of the Building Regulations.
Additional Benefits:
Customers gain an immediate benefit
by using the services of a NICEIC Registered Contractor
because the certified installation does not require additional checks
by local Authority Building Control departments. We are able to
self certify our installations, alleviating the necessity of obtaining Buildings
Regulation Approval.
Peace of mind as NICEIC has an independent
Complaints Procedure and Insurance Backed Warranty Scheme if any problems
should arise.
Peacock
Electrics is a division of Muster Limited. We can be found
on the NICEIC register under this name.
NB: Outdoor locations are exposed to the
elements or damp conditions. The use of electrical plugs, switches
and appliances in such conditions means the risk of electric
shock is greatly increased. It is very important that you use
a suitably qualified electrician to ensure that all parts of
your external electrical system are waterproof and electrically
sound.
